My brother started a scrabble game with me and my parents via facebook ( both me and my bro are living in different countries to our parents and each other) so this is a great way to do something together. http://www.facebook.com allows you to choose/ invite who you wish to play scrabble with (one you are a member). Which is cool. The scrabble they use is from Scrabulous whose home page is http://www.scrabulous.com/index.php and there you can play verious version of scrabble.
So if you like to play scrabble you might find this like useful and fun.
